Michael Rechner has been responsible for the professional goalkeepers at Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim since January 2015, having previously spent seven years gaining experience in the Kraichgau club's youth section as goalkeeping coordinator. Rechner has therefore learned his trade from scratch. Since 2009, he has also been an instructor for goalkeeper training at the Badischer Fußballverband (Baden Football Association) and, since 2010, an instructor at the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (German Football Association). But Michael Rechner is now also in demand abroad as a lecturer on goalkeeping.
At the 2018 Goalkeeping Coaches Seminar in Bregenz, which is organized annually by "safehands the art of goalkeeping," Rechner was invited to speak on the topic of "The Goalkeeping Game."
Goalguard attended the event and summarizes Rechner's most important statements for you below. Michael Rechner divided his presentation into four questions.
Daniel Correia is one of the leading goalkeeping coaches in Portugal. The 42-year-old spent 14 years at FC Porto, the 2004 Champions League winners, first as youth coach and later in charge of the B and A teams of the multiple Portuguese champions. During this time, he coached with, among others, five-time world goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who moved from Real Madrid to FC Porto in January 2015 following squabbles. Since the 2018/19 season, he has been responsible for the professional keepers of Portugal's other top club, Sporting Lisbon.

At the goalkeeping coach seminar in October 2018 in Bregenz, organized by safehands the art of goalkeeping, Daniel Correia spoke on the topic of "Goalkeeping philosophy and culture at Sporting Lisbon". We attended the seminar for you and summarized the most important statements.
